Volunteering
We depend upon the enthusiasm and hard work of our volunteers to keep Lytham Hall running.
Due to the growing popularity of Lytham Hall as a top Fylde coast attraction both for visitors and events, Volunteers are a big part of our team.
We need keen, enthusiastic people to join our team to support work in the following areas:
Grounds and Parkland – Tuesday and/or Thursday weekly
Hall - Room Stewards – Hall Tours Sunday to Friday weekly
Shop – Open daily.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Hall. Please complete the online form to apply and we shall be in touch as soon as we can process this.
We always need to recruit more Volunteers for the Tea Room to work both weekdays, evenings and weekends to support our growing itinerary. Also we need Volunteers for our Gift Shop, who are able to commit to working 4 hours when they have a free day.
We also welcome Volunteers in all areas of the Hall and Grounds and if you require more information, please see the Volunteer Role descriptions or get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator, Pam Gregory - lhrotas@gmail.com or 01253 736652.
Thank you!
2024 Heritage Heroes Award!
We are thrilled to announce that we have come runners-up in the 2024 Heritage Heroes Award!
These prestigious awards - now in their 15th year - celebrate the dedication, skill, and passion of volunteers who work tirelessly to safeguard the nation’s history, and we are honoured to have the hard work of our own 370+ volunteers recognised by them.
In 2023, our volunteers provided over 27,000 hours of unpaid time to ensure the preservation and restoration of our Grade 1 listed building and its historic parkland.
The CEO of the Heritage Trust for the North West, Michael Guy, and Lytham Hall's own managers, Peter Anthony and Paul Lomax, are elated to have our volunteers recognised:
"We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award. It’s a testament to the incredible dedication and heart of our volunteers."
"This recognition belongs entirely to our amazing volunteers who show up, time and time again."
"To be recognized in this way is truly an honour. We’re so proud of our volunteers who make what we do here every day possible. We can't thank them enough."
As always, we would like to extend an enormous thank you to all of our volunteers, and to our volunteer coordinator, Pamela Gregory.
