Photography and art competition for under 18s

Lytham Hall parkland and tea room will be opening every Sunday from 31st January to 6th March 2016 inclusive from 10-4pm and Saturdays from the 13th February to 5th March 2016 from 11-4pm, to enjoy the arrival of the Snowdrops, those harbingers of Spring, appearing in their thousands across the grounds.

This year, for the first time, there will be a Photography and Art competition and exhibition for Primary, Senior and college students, There are some great prizes to be won, kindly donated by St Annes Beach Huts, The Island Cinema, Stephen Coles Hair Design, YMCA, Sandcastle Waterpark, Domino’s Pizza, Papa John’s, Costa Coffee, Sainsbury’s, ASDA’s and Booths!

Prizes will be awarded to both Primary, Senior and college winners and runners up.

The competition is open to any artist under 18 on the theme of the Snowdrop trail using photography or any medium of art (painting, drawing, collage etc)

Photographs should be uploaded and sent to lythamhallsnowdrops@gmail.com and artwork sent by post or delivered to Lytham Hall, Ballam Road, Lytham FY8 4JX. Enquiries may also be sent to this email.

There is no entry fee for the competition and entry to the grounds is free for children and £3 for adults, which helps towards the upkeep and renovation work of Lytham Hall and grounds.

Photo submissions should be in digital format as .jpegs

All entries for both art and photography should include the following:

Name and age

Address and contact number

Email address

Confirmation that you allow Lytham Hall to publish your image online and in print.

The closing date for entries is 22nd February 2016
