Wood, glorious wood

It’s that time of year again when the nights are getting colder and you are thinking of stocking up the wood store for winter.

Fortunately, at Lytham Hall our volunteers have been stockpiling, chopping and seasoning the wood for you all through the year and from 20 September we are ready to open up our wood store, as long as seasoned stocks last.

The bags are 35 litre bags, and the wood has been cut and seasoned at Lytham Hall, at £4 per bag. Please phone the estate office on 01253 736652 to book your pick-up slot on Tuesdays or Thursdays and indicate how many bags you would like to purchase. On the spot sales only available Tuesday and Thursday when grounds volunteers are working.

Feel cosy and warm at your log burner, knowing that you have helped a little bit in keeping Lytham Hall’s doors open.
