American legend Merrill Osmond to play at Lytham Hall
Who hasn’t heard of The Osmonds, the American family music group who have been entertaining the world for many decades with their catchy songs and incredible stage presence? Merrill Osmond, the lead singer, has been performing since 1958 and is on top of his game, selling tickets worldwide and playing to huge crowds.
Initially, Merrill was just going to drop in to sample one of our afternoon teas, and we had to keep very quiet about that. But imagine our delight when he accepted our invitation to perform at Lytham Hall, in a special intimate gathering of only 80 people in our Upper West Wing on Tuesday 6 June.
When Merrill tweeted about this, his dedicated fan base got on the phone straight away, and tickets have been sent off to Wales and France for this unique opportunity to get up close and personal with this global legend. A few tickets still remain, so we urge you to get in touch with our estate office on 01253 736652 and purchase your ticket now at £75pp. It could be a lovely mother’s day present as the event includes a grand buffet and a glass of bubbly on arrival.
We hope this kind of concert will be the first of many in the Lytham Hall West Wing, which is ideally suited for intimate concerts. The acoustics are fantastic, enabling unplugged performances or master classes. Income that events like these bring are essential for the operational continuance of Lytham Hall, which offers free entry to the parkland 6 out of 7 days and receives no annual funding to cover upkeep or maintenance.
